DroPilot is an offline-first musical tool for guitarists. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is protected. Developed by Zipizapp.

Personal data

DroPilot does not require an account or registration. Progressions, favorites, and settings stay on the device and are not sent to our servers. Advertising described below is handled by Google.

Information stored on your device

Everything you create—saved chord progressions, folders, language preferences, theme, and other settings—is stored only on your device using the platform’s standard local storage.

This information is never sent to external servers, is not shared with third parties, and is not accessible to the developer.

Microphone permission

The tuner feature may request microphone access. It is used solely to:

Detect the pitch of the sound in real time.
Show the nearest note and how far it is from being in tune.

Audio from the microphone is not recorded, not stored, and not transmitted. Processing happens entirely on your device.

In-app purchases

DroPilot offers an optional “DroPilot Pro” purchase to unlock advanced features. The transaction is handled entirely by the app stores (Google Play, App Store and Microsoft Store) and is subject to their privacy policies.

The DroPilot developer does not have access to your payment details—only whether the purchase completed successfully.

Advertising

On Android and iOS, the free version shows ads from Google AdMob. DroPilot Pro removes ads. The Windows version does not show ads.

To serve and measure those ads, Google may process the device advertising identifier, technical data such as the IP address, and data about the ads shown, under its privacy policy.

Children

The app is not directed specifically at children under 13.
